Our Vineyard Food and Clothing Bank: This ministry has been serving as many as 700 weekly individual and family food allotments per month, we want to further expand this ministry including those shut-ins otherwise unable to help themselves; these currently represent about a third of our monthly allotments.
In addition, we have a daily mobile meal program that delivers food to the homeless throughout the river bank encampments and those homeless located within the city limits.
Volunteers are needed from every part of our community for every part of this effort. It takes approximately 97 volunteer hours weekly for the food and clothing bank. We currently need drivers to help deliver food on Wednesdays and Thursday, particularly those with trucks.
Our extreme weather shelter we need around 300 people to stay overnight to properly man the 4 sites where our guests from the homeless community will be joining us. We are literally saving lives with this program and need your help to make it happen!
